Shipping policy for
Bows and scrunchies

My turnaround time for all in-stock hair accessories (excluding personalised and embroidery) is currently same-day-dispatch when ordering by 12 pm. Please note that in busy periods, orders containing custom items can take longer to dispatch than ready-to-go hair accessories. Turnaround times can be up to 14 working days during busy periods this may extend during really busy periods however I will update the website accordingly. Once items are dispatched, please allow up to 5 working days before contacting if an order has not yet arrived after you receive your dispatch email as Royal Mail is at times busier than usual. I do not post on Bank Holidays and I am closed over Christmas.
All customised orders are now on a quicker turnaround with most orders being able to leave within 2-3 working days.
Shipping on feltie and embroidered products are currently on up to 14 - 21 day turnaround. Shipping on pre-orders is currently on up to 14-day turnaround. All orders are processed and dispatched in order of payment except custom orders and pre-orders which take a little longer.

If you have shopped with me before you may well be aware of my open box. You will be aware I introduced open boxes for those customers placing regular bows and scrunchie orders to save on postage. If you are new to Bows and Frills then this is what open box means you can order and pay for any bows on the website using my 'OPENBOX' shipping option this will then notify me to add your order to an open box for you and you will not pay postage until you have finished filling your box, you can then reorder the next day or a few days or a week later and simply use the same shipping option, these will then also be added to your box, when you are ready for your for me to post out, on your final order. Contact me via email or Facebook to arrange the postage option you will need to select at checkout when placing your final order!
​This means for example if you see only one bow you like today but intend to order more soon. You will only pay one postage charge instead of multiple!

UK Standard Delivery is now FREE on orders over £60. Your order will be sent and delivered via our Royal Mail 48 service if you select the free option. Orders below this amount will either be shipped using a 24 or 48-hour service depending on whether you select 1st or 2nd-class delivery at checkout.

Please note the exceptions of these rules, the above does not apply to new releases (launch nights), pre-orders, personalised items, and custom orders.

If you are not around to accept delivery of your parcel, a calling card may be left, and your parcel will be taken to your local sorting office for collection the next working day. Royal Mail may leave it with a neighbor, or in a safe place, this is entirely at their discretion. A delivery card will be left to let you know this has been done.
Unfortunately, I cannot deliver on a bank holiday or Sundays. In these circumstances, please expect your delivery to arrive with you on the next available working day.
